These Terms of Service govern your use of Commune (commune.church), operated by Waypoint Ventures Co LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Commune, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Commune is a faith-based streaming platform that aggregates live and recorded church services from YouTube and Facebook into a single discovery interface. The platform is free for all users.
Accounts
You must be 13 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up.
Church Admins
If you register as a church admin, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the church you add to the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of your church's profile information and stream URLs. You may only list streams that your church controls or has rights to share.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Commune to post content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive. You may not impersonate a church or organization you are not affiliated with. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems.
Third-Party Content
Commune displays content streamed from YouTube and Facebook. We do not host or control this content. We are not responsible for the content of third-party streams, including but not limited to the accuracy of any religious teachings, statements, or views expressed. Each church is solely responsible for its own content.
DMCA and Copyright
If you believe content on Commune infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@commune.church with a description of the content, the location on the platform, and your contact information. We will investigate and respond promptly.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we determine in our sole discretion that your use is harmful to the platform or its users.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Commune is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or that streams will be uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint Ventures Co LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Commune.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Commune after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
